About UsThe Brookside II Homeowner’s Association was officially formed in February,1994. Brookside II, conveniently located near Route 30, Route 45 (LaGrange Road), and downtown Frankfort, was developed by Bruti & Associates and consists of 115 homes (the maximum for the subdivision is 116). The first homes were built in 1989, with rapid development from 1990 through 1992. The Brookside II Homeowner’s Association is dedicated to maintaining the excellence of a premier established Frankfort neighborhood through observance of its approved covenants, active participation of its members in homeowner and community events, and a philosophy of neighborly interaction and communication to insure a high quality of life. Over the past 10 years, Brookside II has sponsored many events for our neighbors to enjoy. · Membership Appreciation Reception · Picnic · Progressive Dinner · “A Night at the Races” · Holiday Decorating Contest · “State of the Village” meeting with the Mayor · Neighborhood Softball Challenge · Scholarship Program Brookside II is also one of the 8 civic group members of B.E.T.A., Inc. (Beer Entertainment Tent Association) the association that operates the entertainment tent during the annual Fall Fest. As a management member with volunteer hours, Brookside II has benefited from the proceeds from the entertainment tent over the last 10 years. The primary mandate of the B.E.T.A. Team is to recycle the funds from the event back into the Frankfort community. With our proceeds, Brookside II has funded the following: · Purchase and installation of the wooden street signs for our sub division · Sign and lighting for the Route 45/Pleasant Hill entrance area · Landscaping of the Pleasant Hill entrances (both sides) and the Washington Parkway entrance · Over $7,500 in scholarships since the year 2001 to Brookside II student residents · Purchase and installation of two covered shelters on the Old Plank Road Trail (near Brookside II) · Purchase of a fire rescue saw for the Frankfort Fire Department · Purchase of three refuse containers for the Old Plank Road Trail (near Brookside II) · Contribution towards the covered pavilion built at the Frankfort Prairie Park · Donation to the Concerts on the Green series
